Since this will be your very first vlog, you will want to think about what you are going to talk to ahead of time and have some ideas jotted down so that you are not stalling, saying, ‘um…’, repeatedly or staring into space trying to find your words. Be careful not to choose an overly sensitive topic for your first vlog. Next, think about how much time you are going to need for your first vlog. About two minutes is perfect so that you are not rambling or boring people. Say what you need to say and be done with it. Make sure that when you are uploading your video, you tag it appropriately so that people will be able to find it and watch it.

Once you start vlogging more, you can edit your videos before you upload them. This is great if you did ramble on and on and you want to cut out that rambling in an effort to shorten your video. Once you have your video all edited and ready to rock and roll, you can upload it onto your Youtube page, tag it and start getting views.
At first, it may seem like not a lot of people watch your videos but you will see that in time, you will get more views.
